Bible Verse this Morning

Psalm 19:7-13

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

True Woman Movement- Chapter Nine

This is the last chapter of the book and I am glad to say I have learned a lot. This book put in me a hope and desire to be a woman of God, that trust, walks in Truth, that surrenders to Him, that prays, and live love and know Him.

My Prayer:

Abba, I can't believe that I am Your child. My sin separated me from You but now I am Yours because of Christ sacrifice. Thank You for saving someone like me who is unworthy of Your love. I live in a world that lives for themselves. My prayer is that I would live for You, that You would be the center of my life. When people choose to follow that ways of this world, I want to choose You. My desire is to know You, to be pure, and guard my heart. I am content at where I am as a single woman. I trust in You, no matter your will for me to be married or not. I want to serve You without distraction. I can't see the future or do I understand all things, but I trust You. Help to live everyday as if it is my last, to honor and glorify You in this life. I pray, Amen.

True Woman Movement- Chapter Eight---Leave Behind a Legacy of Prayer

I remember when I was in high school, I was challenged to get up early in the morning to pray. I decided that around 5:30am, I would get up and pray to God. I had my prayer journal of requests from other people and I would start praying for them. Before I knew, I saw prayers being answered and I loved spending time with God. There was a delight that grew in me to spend time with God in prayer and reading the bible. I loved that I could communicate with a God I was once separated from because of my sin.

This past week in a small group, everyone was asked "what do you think you will be remember by once your gone?" I thought once I am gone, I want to be remember as a "praying woman of God." I love to pray for others, there is nothing like being before the Father and praying. I do pray that if I ever have a family, they will see my heart for prayer and not only them but others who know me.

I would encourage everyone to spend more time with God in prayer. Getting to know Him is the most amazing thing. Our time in prayer in where we can be honest, offer praise, confess, intercessed and a supplication That we would pray for the world around us and pray for those close to us.

Bible Verses:

Psalm 73:28 (New King James Version)
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
That I may declare all Your works.

Hebrew 10:22 (New King James Version)
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Job 8:5 (New King James Version)
5 If you would earnestly seek God
And make your supplication to the Almighty,

Quote

Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears.... The more your prayer is like Christ's, the sweeter it will be.... Intercessory prayer exceedingly prevails. What wonders it has wrought! It has stopped plagues,...healed diseases,...raised the dead.... There is nothing that intercessory prayer cannot do. Believer, you have a mighty engine in your hand - use it well, use it constantly, use it now with faith, and you shall surely prevail.... Never give up anyone for spiritually dead until they are dead naturally...

True Woman Movement- Chapter Seven

1 John 2:5-6
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

1 Peter 5:10
10 But may[a] the God of all grace, who called us[b] to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

True Woman Movement- Chapter Six

When fear takes over, it can control our lives. I know for me when fear takes over I feel my heart beating faster, can't sleep and my body starts shaking. As I said before in my other post, I express my fears of the future and the unknown. If we decide to let fear control our lives, we start not believing and trusting in God and His promises. We quickly forget about the God we serve and who He is.

Bible Verses:
Isaiah 26:4 (New King James Version)
4 Trust in the LORD forever,
For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.

1 Peter 5:7 (New King James Version)
7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Psalm 9:10 (New King James Version)
10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Nahum 1:7 (New King James Version)
7 The LORD is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him.

Isaiah 26:3 (New King James Version)
3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

Isaiah 12:2
2 Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
‘ For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’”

Quotes:

I had feelings of fear about the future...The devil kept on whispering, "It's all right now, but what about afterward? You are going to be very lonely"....And I turned to my God in a kind of desperation and said "Lord, what can I do? How can I go on to the end?" And He said, "None of them that trust in Me shall be desolate." That word has been with me ever since.

Amy Carmichael

Where does your security lie? Is God your refuge, your hiding place, your stronghold, your shepherd, your counselor, your friend, your redeemer, your saviour, your guide? If He is, you don't need to search any further for security.

True Woman Movement--Chapter Five

Hannah's Story:
When I think of Hannah's story, I am encouraged to trust God. I absolutely love Hannah for trusting God when she was constantly "teased" by her rival Peninnah. Trust was a struggling issues for me because of past hurts and disappointments.

Sometimes in life, we are put into situations that we do not understand and we can get upset and become angry. Instead of trusting to God for help, we might choose to handle the situation ourselves, thus becoming more frustrated and angry.

Hannah was a woman that went to God with her worries, she cried out to God about what was on her heart. And when God answered her prayers for a child she praised Him and kept her vow of giving back her child to the Lord. I pray that we all will trust in the Lord no matter what the situation, our God knows what He is doing, He is Faithful and our Provider.
